But Keeping Busy</B></I></div> <div> Dear Members and Friends of St.  John's UCC,</div> <div> I have made the decision to retire from my job as executive secretary effective May 8, 2008. I will deeply miss all of you and the job that I've enjoyed so much; it has been such an integral part of my life. It's been a pleasure working with Rev. Kate and the entire staff here. I will miss all of you and your smiling faces and many hugs. People have asked me through the years if St. John's is a <I>"friendly church,"</I> and I always reply --<I>it is the most warm and friendly church around! </I>I don't believe I'm being partial either. I will always remember how you have loved me and embraced me from the very day I started working here -- almost sixteen years ago. My plans are to spend more time with family, especially my grandson Eli, and be available for my daughters, Nina and Angie. I also have extended-family responsibilities. I hope to have more time to devote to my gardening and outdoor hobbies. Mike will continue to work at Good Samaritan Hospital and be just a <I>little bit</I> jealous of me because I will have more free time.</div> <div> I will be praying for God's guidance in placing the right person to work in the office with Rev. Kate and all of you.
